Come together with fellow believers for a night of  Worship Saturday night at Memory Park in Chino Valley Arizona on September 15, 2018, 6:30 pm to 8:30 pm for the 3rd Annual Praise in the Park.

Join together with local churches in Chino Valley for our 3rd annual Praise In The Park. You’ll experience Worship led by multiple church teams and hear messages from various local pastors creating  a night to remember. This FREE event is what we like to call a BYOLC (Bring Your Own Lawn Chair) and we also ask that you bring a canned food item for the Chino Valley Food Bank.  There will also be a concession stand to buy food and drinks to help benefit local youth groups along with prayer booths for those who are in need of prayer.

For more information call (928) 636-2949

Our own “Close Harmony” was singing Christmas carols at this years Chino Valley Family Christmas event put on by the Chamber of Commerce Saturday December 9th. Great fun judging Christmas trees and wandering around all the booths.

Some of us were talking to Santa to see if we were on the naughty or nice list, and of course Deb was on the nice list.

Soul Sisters are hosting a craft, bake, and knick-knack sale on Friday and Saturday, October 21-22, from 8am to 2pm. All members of the church are invited to participate in this sale to benefit Foster Children who are graduating out of the Foster Care System. We are raising funds to give them gift cards to help them set up a new household in a situation when they are now out on their own.
We will be happy to accept any donations of craft items, baked goods or resalable décor items (in good condition) you have that you no longer want to dust.

Here are some items you might find there this weekend.

The public is welcome to come and browse. You just might find something for that Aunt or Uncle you don’t see very often.

“The CVUMC Choir met Saturday, August 27 at Carrie’s house for the first choir retreat/workshop.  New music for the year was introduced, rehearsed and sung.  Friendships were cultivated, a bite to eat and more singing provided a positive consensus that this will be happening again in the near future.  Contact the church office at 636.2969 or our choir director, Bob Reese to join in song at our services.”
